Jenni Olson is a renowned author on queer identities within film, and was presented with the Pride Award from the Ashland Independent Film Festival. During her short visit in Ashland, she presented on campus in collaboration with the Queer Resource Center, entitled "Homo Promo: the History of LGBT Movie Trailers", at which I also had the pleasure of introducing her and facilitating a Q&A session.
